Julianna recently completed her second year at Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode, she developed her advocacy and negotiation skills by participating in several moots and negotiation competitions, including a semifinal finish in the Dentons Negotiation Cup Competition. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, working with the FCJ Refugee Centre to prepare humanitarian and compassionate claim appeals for the Immigration and Refugee Board. Julianna also worked as a research assistant in evidence law and pursued this interest through an independent supervised research project. She further developed an interest in securities regulation through her involvement as an Upper Year Executive with the Osgoode Securities Law Association. Julianna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western University, where she graduated with Honours and received a scholarship for academic achievement. At Western, Julianna developed a passion for interdisciplinary research and enjoyed working closely with her peers as a policy analyst and research fellow. Outside of work and school, Julianna enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends, watercolour painting and travelling.
